When we can do that again safely, we'll pick up where we left off. One of the most important elements of our mission is to bring people together. We've also decided that an online festival does not fit the Flyway's mission. We have concluded that we need to cancel this year's festival and marshal our resources for 2021. Right now is when all of our lead work and planning would be well underway. But COVID-19 has disrupted everything. The Flyway Film Society board and executive director have discussed many possible scenarios for continuation of the film festival this year. And the pandemic arrived.in our thirteenth year. The number thirteen has a reputation for bringing bad luck. This year would have been Flyway's thirteenth annual film festival.
